Welcome to Life Activities Club Knox Inc.
Our Club:
Affiliated with Life Activities Clubs Victoria Inc. we are one of the largest seniors clubs in the City of Knox (Boronia, Bayswater, Ferntree Gully etc.) and are managed and organised by volunteer members catering for pre-retired and retired people aged, but not restricted to, 55 plus.
Formed in 1986 we are a not for profit, non-political, non-religious club.
Our members are interesting and like minded people resident mostly within the City of Knox however the Club has a number of members residing in neighbouring municipalities.
With an annual membership averaging 200 our Club provides over 20 different social activities to encourage people of both sexes, various nationalities and marital status to socialise, make new friends, learn new skills and banish the loneliness of isolation that can occur after leaving the workforce or from personal circumstances.
Activities are held during the day or evening on weekdays and at weekends and new activities are added from time to time in response to member requests.
We have clubrooms and we also meet in public places and members homes so come along and join in the fun!
We offer “try before you buy“. You may attend any of our activities up to a total of 3 occasions before deciding whether to become a member. Membership is $25 per person per year and covers insurance and the quarterly Newsletter.

Events:
Finally after 35 years the Club has a place to call home.
On Saturday the 29th January 2022 members celebrated the opening of the Club's clubrooms following successful negotiations with the City of Knox Council for use of the Council building located in Underwood Road Ferntree Gully formerly occupied by a Senior Citizens Club.
These clubrooms will give the Club the opportunity to host activities that have to date been held in members' homes and to add new indoor activities that require larger space.
Two such activities are "Cards Canasta" and "Cards Bolivia" whose numbers have fallen in recent times and are in need of an influx of new players. So if you would like to join either or both of these groups please contact our Membership Secretary or the Activity Group Convenor/s using the details in the club newsletter.
